Kansas draws every 4 minutes, about 15 games an hour, with 20 numbers drawn from 80. The top prize on a standard play is $100,000, rising to $300,000 on a 10-spot game once Bull's-Eye is added.
Kansas Keno is sold at licensed Kansas Lottery retailers across the state. Look for the Kansas Lottery logo at convenience stores and gas stations, grocery stores with a lottery service counter, and drug stores and variety retailers. Retailers cluster in Wichita, Overland Park, Kansas City, Topeka and Lawrence, but smaller towns throughout Kansas have licensed locations too.

Kansas has no prize multiplier at all, which sets it apart from almost every other keno state. Its only add-on is Bull's-Eye, and it works by drawing one extra number after the main 20 and showing it separately. Adding Bull's-Eye doubles your wager, and matching that extra number with one of your spots pays a separate prize. Because there is no multiplier on offer, a Kansas ticket has a much simpler cost structure than a Georgia or Missouri one.
Smaller prizes are normally paid straight back at the retailer that sold the ticket, and larger ones go through a lottery claim center or a mail-in claim. Federal rules treat a state lottery keno prize like any other lottery prize: once your winnings minus the wager clear $5,000, the lottery withholds 24% for the IRS before it pays you, and smaller prizes can still be reported on a Form W-2G. Kansas taxes lottery winnings as income as well, and the lottery withholds at the state level on larger prizes, so check the operator's own claim page for the current thresholds and rate before you plan around a number.
