The draws above come from the Ohio Lottery Commission, which has run KENO! since August 2008, when it launched in bars and taverns before spreading to the full retail network.
Ohio draws every 4 minutes from 6:04 AM to 2:29 AM daily, so a full day carries well over 250 games. Wagers are fixed at $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing, and the top prize is $100,000 for catching 10 of 10 on a $1 ticket. At the minimum $1 a draw, sitting through an hour of KENO! is a $15 commitment before any add-on.
All of Ohio's 10,500-plus lottery retailers can print a KENO! ticket, but only about 1,400 of them run live monitors. The monitor venues are mostly bars, taverns and restaurants showing the board on a TV, and they are the ones worth seeking out if you want to watch the draw rather than check it later. If your nearest retailer is a convenience store with no screen, the ticket is identical and you can follow the draws on the Ohio Lottery app. You must be 18 to buy a ticket, though bars holding a Class D liquor permit often set their own 21-and-over door policy.

Ohio's add-on is the Booster. It costs an extra $1 for every $1 you wager, doubling your ticket, and draws a random multiplier for each game. 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x are the common outcomes and 10x is the rarest. The Booster lifts every prize on the ticket rather than just the top one, but a 1x result is a real possibility, so it is a variance play rather than a way to shrink the house edge.
Smaller prizes are normally paid straight back at the retailer that sold the ticket, and larger ones go through a lottery claim center or a mail-in claim. Federal rules treat a state lottery keno prize like any other lottery prize: once your winnings minus the wager clear $5,000, the lottery withholds 24% for the IRS before it pays you, and smaller prizes can still be reported on a Form W-2G. Ohio taxes lottery winnings as income as well, and the lottery withholds at the state level on larger prizes, so check the operator's own claim page for the current thresholds and rate before you plan around a number.
