Quick Draw is available statewide at licensed New York Lottery retailers with a Quick Draw license. Bars and restaurants are the most common venue, from NYC neighbourhood bars to Buffalo taverns and Albany restaurants, and off-track betting locations across the state commonly carry it too. Quick Draw is especially prominent in New York City's bar scene: the live monitor format makes it a social game, with everyone watching the same draw at the same time.

New York's two add-ons are not the Bullseye you may have seen on a New Jersey slip. Extra is a multiplier drawn at random for each game, worth 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x, and many draws come back at 1x meaning no boost. Money Dots is a separate $1 wager that runs its own drawing right after each Quick Draw game, using the 60 numbers that were not drawn, and it pays up to $50. Both raise your cost per draw without changing your base win frequency.
Smaller prizes are normally paid straight back at the retailer that sold the ticket, and larger ones go through a lottery claim center or a mail-in claim. Federal rules treat a state lottery keno prize like any other lottery prize: once your winnings minus the wager clear $5,000, the lottery withholds 24% for the IRS before it pays you, and smaller prizes can still be reported on a Form W-2G. New York taxes lottery winnings as income as well, and the lottery withholds at the state level on larger prizes, so check the operator's own claim page for the current thresholds and rate before you plan around a number.
