HOT & COLD NUMBERS

Based on all draws for the selected day. Numbers that appear more often are hot; less often are cold.

FREQUENCY HEATMAP

📊

Every number has an equal 25% chance of being drawn each game (20 of 80). Hot and cold patterns are normal statistical variation. They do not predict future results.

PUT THESE NUMBERS TO WORK

Hot and cold runs never move the odds, but spot count and bet size do. These work out what a Missouri Club Keno ticket is actually worth.

The math behind keno

HOW WE CALCULATE ODDS

All keno probabilities come from the hypergeometric distribution, the same formula used in every state lottery's official odds disclosures.

HYPERGEOMETRIC PROBABILITY

The probability of matching k of your m spots when 20 numbers are drawn from a pool of 80. Each draw is independent, so past results never influence future outcomes.

C(n,k) is the binomial coefficient: the number of ways to choose k items from n. This is pure combinatorics: no estimates, no approximations.

P(k) = C(m,k) · C(80−m, 20−k)C(80, 20)
Worked example · 6-spot, hit all 6:
C(20,6) / C(80,6) = 38,760 / 300,500,200
= 1 in 7,753

PLAYING MISSOURI CLUB KENO

The draws above come from the Missouri Lottery's Club Keno, which offers the deepest stack of bonus options of any state we track.

Draw schedule and what a session costs

Missouri draws every 4 minutes, roughly 15 games an hour, with a $100,000 base top prize on a 10-spot.

Where to play

Club Keno is available at any licensed Missouri Lottery retailer displaying keno signage: bars and restaurants with monitors showing the draws live, convenience stores and gas stations, and grocery and variety stores with a lottery counter. You must be 18 or older to play the Missouri Lottery.

Multiplier, Bulls-Eye and Double Bulls-Eye

The Multiplier doubles your wager and applies a random multiplier of up to 10x to every prize on the ticket, though not to Bulls-Eye prizes. Bulls-Eye designates one of the 20 drawn numbers as the red Bulls-Eye and doubles your ticket cost, paying more when one of your matched numbers is that number. Double Bulls-Eye goes further: a second, green Bulls-Eye is drawn from the remaining 19 winning numbers, giving you two numbers to chase, and it triples the cost. You win by matching either and more by matching both.

Claiming a win, and what tax applies

Smaller prizes are normally paid straight back at the retailer that sold the ticket, and larger ones go through a lottery claim center or a mail-in claim. Federal rules treat a state lottery keno prize like any other lottery prize: once your winnings minus the wager clear $5,000, the lottery withholds 24% for the IRS before it pays you, and smaller prizes can still be reported on a Form W-2G. Missouri taxes lottery winnings as income as well, and the lottery withholds at the state level on larger prizes, so check the operator's own claim page for the current thresholds and rate before you plan around a number.

Worth knowing

Missouri's options are priced in layers, so it is easy to turn a $1 intention into a $4 ticket without noticing. Decide which single feature you actually want before you mark the slip.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Every 4 minutes, throughout the day and into the early hours. Each game draws 20 numbers from a pool of 80.

You choose between 1 and 10 numbers (spots) on a Club Keno ticket.

The Multiplier is an optional add-on that doubles your wager and applies a random multiplier of up to 10x to any standard prize you win. It does not apply to Bulls-Eye prizes.

One of the 20 drawn numbers is selected at random as the red Bulls-Eye. Adding Bulls-Eye doubles your ticket cost and pays more when a matched number is the Bulls-Eye. Double Bulls-Eye adds a second, green Bulls-Eye number and triples your ticket cost, giving two Bulls-Eye numbers to chase.
