Complete guide to British Columbia's Keno game from BCLC: the Keno Bonus multiplier, the draw schedule, odds for each spot count, paytables, and tips for smarter play.
Latest draws, hot & cold numbers, frequency heatmap, and a number checker for your picks.
BC Keno is run by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) and is played at lottery retailers across British Columbia and online at playnow.com. A fresh draw happens roughly every 3 minutes and 30 seconds throughout the operating day, which runs from approximately 6:00 AM to 2:00 AM Pacific Time.
Players choose between 1 and 10 numbers (spots) from a field of 1 to 80, and 20 numbers are drawn each game. You win based on how many of your numbers match, according to the paytable for your spot count. BC Keno also offers the optional Keno Bonus multiplier.
Pick 1–10 numbers from 1–80 and choose a wager of $1, $2, $5, or $10. A new draw happens about every 3.5 minutes, and 20 numbers are drawn from 80. You win based on how many of your numbers match the drawn numbers, according to the paytable for your spot count. Add Keno Bonus to multiply any win.
Keno Bonus is an optional add-on. When you add it, your wager is doubled (for example, a $1 base play becomes $2 with Keno Bonus), and a multiplier of 1.5x, 2x, 5x, 7x, or 10x is drawn at random for each draw. If you win, your prize is multiplied by that value.
Keno Bonus doubles your cost to add a random multiplier averaging more than the standard 1x. Because BCLC does not publish how often each multiplier lands, the long-run value is an estimate, so treat it as a way to chase bigger wins, not a way to lower the house edge.
You can play BC Keno at licensed BCLC lottery retailers throughout British Columbia, including convenience stores, gas stations, and grocery stores, as well as in keno-equipped pubs and lounges. You can also play online through playnow.com, BCLC's official gaming site, where draws and results display live.
All payouts below are for a $1 play and do not include Keno Bonus. For a $2 play, double all payouts; for a $5 play, multiply by 5, and so on.
