Keno in Manitoba

Manitoba has keno in two forms. The main one is WCLC Keno, the lottery keno game run by the Western Canada Lottery Corporation and sold at lottery retailers throughout the province. A new draw happens roughly every 5 minutes: you pick 1 to 10 numbers from a field of 1 to 80, 20 numbers are drawn, and you win based on how many you match, up to a maximum prize of $100,000 per draw.

In Manitoba the lottery is administered by the Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corporation using the WCLC Keno game, so the rules, draw schedule, and prizes are the same across the Prairie provinces. You must be 18 or older to play.

How WCLC Keno Works

Pick 1–10 numbers from 1–80 and choose a wager of $1, $2, $5, or $10. A new draw happens about every 5 minutes, and 20 numbers are drawn from 80. You win based on how many of your numbers match, according to the prize table for your spot count, up to the $100,000 per-draw maximum.

Casino Keno in Manitoba

Beyond the lottery, Manitoba casinos offer video keno machines, where you play against a paytable on the machine rather than a shared lottery draw. You will find them at Club Regent Casino and McPhillips Station Casino in Winnipeg, as well as Sand Hills Casino near Carberry and South Beach Casino at Scanterbury. Casino keno paytables differ from the WCLC lottery game, so check the machine before you play.
